StoryWithMe is designed for family use. In practice, the account holder should be a parent, guardian, or other adult responsible for managing the app experience and any information entered about a child.

We keep collection to the minimum needed to provide StoryWithMe. We do not collect children's biometric data or facial-feature identifiers.

Why StoryWithMe uses personal and story-related information
Personalize story generation
Character names, ages, hobbies, role descriptions, style choices, and prompts are used to create more relevant and more consistent story results.
Maintain safety and quality
User text and related content may be checked through moderation or validation flows to reduce unsafe or unusable inputs and to support product integrity.
Respond to support requests
We use information users provide in support messages to answer questions, investigate problems, and respond to App Review or privacy-related requests.
Data Protection
How data is protected and shared
StoryWithMe does not sell personal information and does not share user personal data with third-party platforms.
No third-party marketing sharing
We do not provide user personal data to third-party ad networks or data brokers, and we do not use user personal data for third-party cross-app tracking.
Security and encrypted transport
StoryWithMe applies security controls to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted transport channels and protected storage access controls.
Purpose limitation
Data is used only for account operation, story generation, service reliability, and user support as described in this policy.
Children's Privacy
How StoryWithMe approaches child-related information
StoryWithMe supports family storytelling, which means adults may provide information about children as part of the story setup experience.
Adult-managed use
We expect a parent, guardian, or another responsible adult to create and manage the account and to decide what information about a child is entered into the app.
Child profile details
Users may enter child-related details such as a child's name, age, hobby, and story preferences in order to personalize story output.
Photo restrictions for minors
In the current app logic, when a child role is marked as under 13, the app backend blocks uploading a real-person photo avatar for that child role and instead expects a character-style avatar flow.
No child biometric profiling
StoryWithMe does not collect or build biometric identifiers from children, including facial-recognition templates or facial feature vectors for child identification.
Retention and Deletion
How long data may be kept
Apple's guidelines require a privacy policy to explain data retention and deletion policies. StoryWithMe currently follows the general approach below.
Active account data
Account records, role information, story drafts, and generated story content may be kept while the account remains active so the user can continue to access the service and revisit previously created books.
Support records
Support emails and related troubleshooting records may be kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support quality, and document review-related communications.
Account deletion requests
Users can initiate account deletion from the profile area inside the app. If a user also wants follow-up confirmation, privacy assistance, or help related to account data, they can contact support@storywithme.love.
Legal and operational exceptions
Some information may be retained for a limited time where retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or backup and recovery processes.

Access and updates
Users can update certain profile details and manage story-related content inside the app.
Delete account
Users can initiate account deletion from the app's profile settings. For help related to that process, users can email support@storywithme.love.
Withdraw from optional sharing
If a user does not want to provide optional profile or story details, they may avoid entering that information, but certain core features may be reduced because the app depends on those details to personalize stories.
