These Terms of Use describe the basic rules, responsibilities, and limitations for using StoryWithMe.

About StoryWithMe

StoryWithMe is a personalized illustrated storybook creator for parents and families. It includes story creation, illustrated pages, read-aloud narration, optional custom voice profiles, account access, subscriptions, and coin packs.

Apple terms

For users who download StoryWithMe from the App Store, Apple's standard terms and App Store rules may also apply to app downloads, payments, refunds, and subscription management.

Responsibility

User responsibility

Users are responsible for the information, prompts, descriptions, photos, voice recordings, and other content they provide to StoryWithMe.

Photo upload permission

Users should only upload photos or content they have the right and permission to use.

Voice recording permission

Users should only record or upload a voice sample if they are the speaker or have clear permission from the speaker. Custom voice features may not be used to impersonate, mislead, harass, or violate another person's rights.

Parent-managed use

StoryWithMe is intended for parent-managed and family-managed storytelling. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult should manage the account and decide what child-related information is entered into the app.

Generated Content

How generated content works

StoryWithMe uses user-provided inputs and service providers to generate story text, illustrations, and narration audio. Generated content may vary and may not always be accurate, complete, consistent, or suitable for every family.

Review before sharing or relying on content

Users should review generated stories and narration before sharing them with children or others. StoryWithMe is for creative family storytelling and is not professional, medical, educational, legal, or safety advice.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Apple In-App Purchase terms

App Store payment processing

StoryWithMe subscriptions and coin packs are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to the user's Apple Account after purchase confirmation.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

StoryWithMe may offer auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscriptions. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription automatically renews and Apple charges the user's Apple Account according to the selected plan, price, and App Store terms shown at purchase.

Managing subscriptions

Users can manage or cancel subscriptions in their Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the StoryWithMe app or account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Restore purchases

StoryWithMe provides purchase restore support for eligible App Store purchases. Restored subscriptions are linked to the StoryWithMe account used for restoration when permitted by Apple and our purchase verification records.

Coins and consumable purchases

Coin packs are one-time consumable purchases used for eligible StoryWithMe features, such as additional story creation or optional custom voice recording. Coins are not cash, do not earn interest, and cannot be transferred outside StoryWithMe.

Refunds and billing support

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests according to Apple's policies. StoryWithMe support can help investigate delivery or entitlement issues related to a purchase.

Use Rules

Acceptable use

Users may not use StoryWithMe to create or request unsafe, adult, hateful, violent, harassing, illegal, deceptive, privacy-invasive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Voice misuse

Users may not use custom voice features to impersonate another person without permission, create deceptive audio, violate publicity or privacy rights, or generate content intended to mislead others about who is speaking.

Private use

Generated stories are private by default. StoryWithMe does not provide a public gallery, public comments, public profiles, or user-to-user messaging in the current version.

Account and deletion

Users can manage story content inside StoryWithMe and may initiate account deletion from the profile settings.
